Biography:

Dr. Rebecca Coefield-Floyd is a skilled General Surgeon and Chief of Medical Staff at Liberty Regional Medical Center, dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care to our community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Coefield-Floyd completed her residency training at Memorial University Medical Center and further advanced her expertise through a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Coefield-Floyd has served as a Surgery instructor for Mercer University School of Medicine and the South University Physician Assistant Program in Savannah, GA. She is fluent in sign language and remains actively engaged in the community, making her a valued leader and trusted provider at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
