Dr. Seth Borquaye
Dr. Seth Borquaye was born in Nungua-Accra, Ghana to a family of fishermen. With his education beginning in Ghana and later continuing in the United States, one of his own passions extends directly from his mother's vision - for her own children to attain higher education. He fulfilled his mother's wishes by becoming a medical doctor.
Dr. Borquaye obtained a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Ghana, a Masters of Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania in 1994.
After receiving his M.D. and while serving in the United States Army, Dr. Borquaye completed both his internship and residency in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
Today, Dr. Borquaye operates a medical practice in Hinesville - Comprehensive OB/
GYN, located in Suite 202 of the Medical Office Building on the campus of Liberty Regional Medical Center. He maintains a medical license in the states of Georgia and New Mexico.

In addition to excellence in the practice of medicine with exemplary patient care and collegial relations, is his selfless service to the people of Liberty County. Dr. Borquaye has given countless hours of service over the course of eight years to the free WIC Clinic at the Liberty County Health Department. He has also distinguished himself among the African-American community with his leadership in The Eleven Black Men of Liberty County.
Dr. Seth Borquaye has also been a great supporter of the mission and ministry of The Fraser Center. It was out of his concern for the young mothers of our area that The Fraser Center Board of Directors authorized a free support group for women suffering from post-partum depression.
What is most striking is how Dr. Borquaye's time is not his own. He has chosen to give it to others. This is not only true with his family, his medical practice and his patients, but also with the sharing of his Christian faith with the Faith Community of Liberty and surrounding counties. It has been said that Seth can preach a sermon at the drop of a dime and, indeed, he spends many of his Sundays as a guest speaker for numerous congregations.
As further testament to his character and caliber of person, Dr. Borquaye has been the recipient of the following prestigious awards and honors.

On yet another level, Dr. Borquaye serves as Chairman of the Board of both the Ghana Visions Foundation and the Africa on Fire Missions, Inc. In the past, Dr. Borquaye made self funded, annual trips to Ghana to support and assist The Ghana Visions Foundation in its efforts to improve public health and education for the people of Ghana, offering general healthcare, surgical services and assistance with the orphanage for children which was also founded by this organization.
Amid his very busy schedule with his medical practice and his tremendous involvement in the community, Dr. Borquaye has been known to carve out some time to volunteer as a youth coach at the YMCA.
These commitments of dedicated service are all shining examples of his tireless and selfless gifts of humanitarianism on both a local and international level.
Dr. Seth Borquaye and his wife Adeline reside in Hinesville and have three daughters Iris, Yolanda and Amanda.
