Biography:
Dr. Rebecca Coefield-Floyd is a skilled General Surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care to the community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Coefield-Floyd completed her medical training at the Memorial University Medical Center Residency Program and further advanced her expertise with a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
With a passion for education, Dr. Coefield-Floyd has served as an instructor of Surgery at both Mercer University School of Medicine and South University - Physician Assistant Program in Savannah, GA. She is fluent in sign language and is actively engaged within her community, making her a valued asset to Liberty Regional Medical Center.
