Biography:

Dr. Christina McCain is a board-certified general surgeon who has proudly served patients in southeast Georgia for more than 15 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University in 2001 before receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2005.

Dr. McCain completed her General Surgery residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, in 2010. Following residency, she joined Liberty Regional Medical Center, where she has provided comprehensive general surgical care to the community since 2010.

In November 2024, Dr. McCain transitioned to a part-time role at Liberty Regional Medical Center while accepting a full-time position as supervisory general surgeon at Winn Army Community Hospital. She remains committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate surgical care to patients throughout the region.

Dr. McCain provides a broad range of general surgical services and is dedicated to partnering with patients to deliver individualized, evidence-based care in a compassionate and respectful environment.

Outside of medicine, Dr. McCain enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending church, and serving the community.
