Liberty Regional Medical Center is centrally located in the Lewis Ashmore Medical Park at 462 E.G. Miles Parkway. This beautifully landscaped medical campus consists of nearly 20 acres of land with a 97,171 square foot facility serving as the heart of the complex. A large medical office complex is also conveniently located on the site.
Our facilities have allowed us to continue our 50+ year tradition of serving area residents and visitors. We are proud to offer healthcare services, treatments, and professional services right here in our own community which are normally found in most metropolitan communities.
Liberty Regional is one of the most technologically advanced facilities of comparable size in South Georgia. The use of high-speed fiber optics and wireless networks allows for a higher degree of efficiency and accuracy in patient care. We are especially proud of our mobile wireless point-of-care charting system.
Our critical access designated facilities consist of 25 inpatient rooms. All patient rooms are private and our entire campus is smoke free.
“Critical Access Hospital” is a designation given to certain rural hospitals by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This designation was created by Congress in the 1997 Balanced Budget Act in response to a string of hospital closures in the 1980s and early 1990s.
