2011 Employees of the Month



Tony Kittrell was June's Employee of the Month

 Tony Kittrell has worked at Liberty Regional since 2003, recently taking on an additional position. Not only is he a Patient Access Representative Level 2, but he is also an Information Systems Technician. His co-workers agree that Tony stands out in registration! He is always well mannered and neatly dressed. He interacts well with others, and his motto should be "Service with a Smile" because he is pleasant and never complains.

Charlene Hall was May's Employee of the Month.
 Charlene Hall is part of the Nutrition Services department at Liberty
Regional. She is reliable, dependable, and a hard worker. She completes
her assignments on time, if not early. Charlene goes above and beyond to
get the job done and never complains about anything. She is willing to
help others in any situation, whether its staff, patients, or customers.
She is a great asset to our team. Charlene is honest and trustworthy,
and has a great attitude.

Thea Porter was April's Employee of the Month.
 Thea Porter works in the Patient Financial Services department, and
enjoys her work very much. She goes above and beyond expectations and
has a great personality. She makes the patients feel special, and she
works hard to help meet their needs. Thea is always on time and is
willing to work any shifts necessary. Her patients love her because of
her kindness. She manages her time well and makes do with what she has.
She is motivated to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and she is
dedicated to her job. Thea is willing to not only work her position,
but also help out in the Emergency Room if necessary. She takes pride in
her job and is eager to learn.

Pam Hall was March's Employee of the Month.

 Pam Hall is part of Liberty Regional's Coastal Manor Long Term Care
department and she is a wonderful, outstanding nurse. She serves many
roles including the Infection Prevention Nurse at the Long Term Care
Center. She is warm, inviting, and professional in her everyday manor.
Pam demonstrates all core values during her work and has a positive
attitude. She is a delight to work with, and we are lucky to have her.

Edwina Karch was February's Employee of the Month.

 Edwina is a very hard worker and is 100% committed to Liberty Regional.
She has been working in Perinatal Services as a PRN for a few years, and
she is very much a team player. Edwina is very friendly and
kind-hearted, and she makes each of her patients feel like they are
princesses for the day. She is well liked by both her co-workers and
patients. She is very dependable and will always step up to the plate if
necessary. Edwina comes to work everyday with a "Yes I Can" attitude.
She is accountable for her actions, takes pride in her job, and always
tries to do her very best.

Amy Morris was January's Employee of the Month.
 Amy works in the Utilization Management department and is responsible
for the inpatient/observation insurance authorizations and
pre-certifications. Amy communicates and works with insurance
representatives to get approvals for admission. She also works well with
her fellow UM personnel and the nursing personnel. Amy is very
dependable and rarely misses work. She is very loyal to the organization
and its personnel, and she is a team player. It is clear that she wants
to do the best job possible. She uses her time wisely and is able to
multitask in order to get work done. Since she has been in this
position, the number of denials has been dramatically reduced to almost
none. She played a very important role in the hospital obtaining the
approval of the outlier payment of a 62-day Medicaid patient.
